Alex is focused on quantitative investment analysis for the investment team, including portfolio construction and risk management.
Alex earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 2012 from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. He subsequently moved to Atlanta to pursue his graduate studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering in 2015. In 2018, Alex defended his thesis, Numerical Methods for Chemical Analysis of Complex Surfaces, earning his Doctor of Philosophy from Georgia Tech. Alex has a background in numerical simulation of dynamic systems and Bayesian machine learning.
