Carol joined Diversified Trust in 2009 and oversees the company’s private equity strategies. Prior to joining Diversified Trust, Carol spent twenty-three years at Vanderbilt University, most recently serving as the Managing Director of Private Markets. In that capacity, she had responsibility for a diversified portfolio of venture capital and leveraged buyout investments spanning various strategies and global markets. She served on the advisory board of seven private equity funds. As a member of Vanderbilt’s investment team Carol was integrally involved in the oversight of its $3.6 billion endowment fund. She began her career in public accounting at KPMG.
Carol graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. She also received a Master of Business Administration with honors from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. Carol is a member of the Board of Directors of Community Health Charities of Tennessee. She is also a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and an active member and volunteer at the Harpeth Hills Church of Christ.
