Jim joined Diversified Trust in 2010 and is actively involved in the management and oversight of client relationships and new business development. He also serves as the company’s Chief Compliance Officer and is a member of our Audit and Risk Management Committee. Prior to joining Diversified Trust, Jim spent 10 years with UBS Financial Services Inc., where he first served as a regional counsel and then as the senior risk officer responsible for risk control activities in UBS’s U.S. branch offices organization. Prior to UBS, Jim was an associate general counsel with J.C. Bradford & Co., a securities broker-dealer and investment advisory firm headquartered in Nashville, and also spent more than 16 years in private legal practice.

Jim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Rhodes College. In addition, he received his law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law. Jim is the Vice Chancellor for the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee and also serves as a member of its Finance Committee. He is an active parishioner of St. George’s Episcopal Church, where he has served as the Senior Warden, member of its Vestry, chair of the parish’s capital building project committee, and as a member of its most recent capital campaign committee.
