Ashley joined Diversified Trust in 2000. She launched the company’s private equity strategy and currently serves on the Private Equity Advisory Committee. She is also a resource for clients with closely-held businesses. Previously, Ashley spent twenty two years at SSM Corporation as an Officer and Owner. At SSM, she served as financial advisor to individual and corporate clients in the areas of acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. During her latter years at SSM, Ashley focused on making direct investments for SSM Venture Partners, a private equity firm.

Ashley received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with Honors and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School. Ashley is a member of the Board of Directors of E. Ritter and Company, Orgill, Inc., and the Hope Christian Community Foundation. She serves on the Board of Trustees and the Council of Advisors of St. Mary’s Episcopal School. She is a member of the Women’s Leadership Council at the University of North Carolina, the Economic Club of Memphis, and the Estate Planning Council of Memphis.
