Marcus joined Diversified Trust in 2007 as a Vice President. Prior to joining the company, he served as a Vice President and Co-Head of the Financial Products Group for Stephens Inc., a full-service investment bank, specializing in the analysis and structuring of fixed income derivatives and other alternative financing products. Marcus is also a former member of the Institutional Fixed Income Banking Group for RBC Dain Rauscher. A native of Union City, Tennessee, he received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. He also received a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management with concentrations in Finance and Information Systems. Marcus is a Junior Achievement volunteer and a board member of For the Kingdom Camp, a support organization of the Memphis Leadership Foundation.
