Shari joined Diversified Trust in 2006. She is a key contributor to the development and oversight of the company’s trust and estate services. Previously, Shari was Regional Manager for the Atlanta office of Synovus Trust Company. She began her career with SunTrust in Atlanta and focused on serving the needs of personal trust and investment clients during her fifteen-year tenure there.

Shari received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and graduated with honors from Furman University. She is also a cum laude graduate of both the ABA National Trust School and National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. Shari has served on the boards of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and the Estate Planning Council of North Georgia, the latter of which she also served as President. She has also served on the boards of the North Fulton Fund of the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, the Ed Isakson/Alpharetta Family YMCA, and Atlanta Cities in Schools. Shari has been published in the CCH Journal of Practical Estate Planning and the CCH Journal of Practical Retirement Planning.
