Jim joined Diversified Trust in 2011 as a Senior Vice President and is responsible for providing oversight for our taxable fixed income strategies and also co-manages our municipal bond strategies. Prior to joining Diversified Trust he served as a Senior Vice President at Morgan Keegan, where he was responsible for originating, structuring, marketing and closing fixed and variable rate municipal bond transactions. He also has served as Director of Municipal Finance Underwriting at CIFG in New York, NY and as Director of the Municipal Finance Ratings Department at Fitch Ratings. While at Fitch, he also provided credit ratings for primary market municipal bond transactions.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Public Policy from Columbia University. He also received a Certificate in Financial Planning from Christian Brothers University. He serves as a member of Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare’s Quality Committee and the Financial Planning Association of Greater Memphis and is a fellow of The Leadership Academy of Memphis.
