Neel has served as a Principal of Diversified Trust since 1994. He is responsible for the management of the company’s tax-exempt bond strategies. In addition, he is responsible for the coordination, due diligence and oversight of the company’s taxable fixed income investment advisors. Prior to joining Diversified Trust, Neel spent ten years with First Tennessee Bank as both an Investment Officer delivering fixed income portfolio management services and as a Portfolio Manager with the bank's registered investment advisory firm.
Neel received a Bachelor of Arts in Business from the University of Mississippi. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Memphis Society of Financial Analysts. Neel serves as Senior Warden of the Church of the Holy Communion in Memphis. He is also a member of the St. George’s School Foundation and the Board of Trustees of St. Mary’s Episcopal School.
